On May 20th, the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences- NUCES (FAST) inaugurated its 3-day flagship event: Na<\/strong>tional S<\/strong>olutions Con<\/strong>vention- NaSCon ’22<\/a>, which is a hub of technological and industrial opportunities not just within the twin cities but across Pakistan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dice Analytics<\/a> saw this mega event, that annually attracts 7000 participants, as a perfect opportunity to create awareness on the \u2018emerging BI ecosystem\u2019 of Pakistan. The platform is a meeting place of young opportunity seekers from various universities of Pakistan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the overarching vision of Dice Analytics of making way forward for economic prosperity of Pakistan<\/a> entails academia-industry collaboration <\/strong>as part of its fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this vision Dice Analytics proudly participated in NaSCon ’22 with the status of a Bronze sponsor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities in NaSCon ’22<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In the three-day event, Dice Analytics is honored to have participated in the many tech activities that were aimed at encouraging young participants in the field of computing and analytics technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dice Analytics sat with team NaSCon to devise programs that acquainted students on: building Career in Data Analytics, Data Analytics training courses, mentoring on top projects of AI exhibition, and judging the shortlisted participants in Datathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting with Mr. Umer\u2019s engaging seminar on Career Counseling, who is a passionate executive with pragmatic insights on data analytics industry, the audience was set clear of their future career path with tips on how to pursue a high paying data analytics job.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could see the energy in students created by the new mindset<\/strong> of \u2018pursuing opportunities without waiting for academic degree to end\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Mr. Umer\u2019s career impetus, Mr. Ali Raza Anjum set the stage. Mr. Ali is Pakistan\u2019s leading analytics expert and specializes in Data Science and Machine Learning. A seminar titled \u2018A Day in the Life of a Data Scientist<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 was delivered that cleared the clutter in students’ minds about their future role as a Data Scientist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to forget, Dice Analytics reserved a services stall <\/strong>to facilitate students called to action <\/strong>in building a career <\/strong>in data analytics. <\/strong>We witnessed a wave of passion among participants wanting to learn the art of using data to reach meaningful insights. All they need is a skill portfolio<\/strong> which Dice Analytics proudly serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The services stall presented Dice Analytics flagship short courses, 2 months in duration, that are devised by industrial experts with interactive learning approach and flexible timings. The courses have adopted an online mode post covid and are affordable for young individuals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next is our favorite: the high profile AI exhibition, <\/strong>which invited Mr. Umer and Mr. Ali on the \u2018judges panel\u2019 as well as honored them to serve as \u2018mentors\u2019 for top 2 projects. Both of our Dice co-founders were thrilled to see advanced AI projects developed by students that aim to solve real issues across wide areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a complete pleasure to witness the accomplishments of our youth who have proven their capability to pull-off anything when there\u2019s zeal, defying the limited resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Umer and Mr. Ali were also honored by the Datathon<\/strong> team and invited as evaluators of top 10 participants. Team Dice is also humbled to have provided participants with \u2018problem statements\u2019 and \u2018datasets\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, saying goodbye to the NaSCon ’22, Dice Analytics leaves with yet another bang offer for students of NU. Dice Analytics will offer 5 students a 3 month internship program:<\/strong> this includes 2 months of free training on public courses and 1 month internship (unpaid).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
