Upskilling Youth: AAUR signs MoU with Dice Analytics

On 6th October, 2022, Pakistan’s 1st International Workshop on Applications of Artificial Intelligence and IoT, organized by Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpidi (PMAS AAUR), was held at the University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT), Rawalpindi. 

Dice Analytics participated as a guest speaker, contributing to the objective of the workshop: creating awareness on the use-cases of emerging tech areas such as AI and IoT.

Working towards their vision: making Pakistan a top global destination of tech professionals (on the remote work model), the co-founder and managing director of Dice Analytics, Mr. Umer Chaudhary took this opportunity to address the growing skills gap in hi-tech areas and increasing global demand for tech professionals.

Making their way forward through building closer ties with academia, Dice Analytics signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pakistan’s leading technology institute, PMAS AAUR to pave the way for youth upskilling and quality higher education.

Signatures of the honorable vice chancellor AAUR, Prof. Dr. Qamar-us-Zaman and managing director Dice Analytics, Mr. Umer Chaudhary, were duly endorsed on the agreement.

The MoU consists of unitedly agreed upon efforts to mutually and effectively promote the following two causes:

1. Bridge the skill-gap in Data Analytics Domain and develop experts every year through delivery of professional and academic training to students and faculty. 

2. Enhancement of PMAS-AAUR academic program through research studies and activities in cutting-edge data analytics domain.

Pegged to the above two objectives, the MoU facilitates the faculty and students at AAUR to avail following benefits:

1. Professional Trainings / Workshops
   1.  Free awareness seminars and workshops on Hi-Tech domains online/onprem
   2. 20% discount on Dice Analytics’ public training programs for faculty and students 
   3. Free tech career advice and tech career test services on Dicecamp, for students
   4. Discounted mentorship from industry tycoons, for students
   5. Discounted pre-vetting services from Dicecamp’s automated and AI powered platform
   6. Participation in Dice Analytics’ annual jobathon/hackathon and blogathons
   7. One faculty member can enroll in each public training programs, free of cost
   8. Exclusive batches for govt. Funded mass trainings
2. FYP Supervision

Selected students can avail FYP assistance from Dice Analytics

3. Office Space

Office space shall be provided to students in joint projects with Dice Analytics

4. Student Awards

Students from every CS, IT and Engineering passing batches shall be offered fully-funded training.
