Snowflake and Snowplow joins to enable rich analytical insights

Snowplow creates rich data of customers, and now this data can be loaded into Snowflake’s cloud data warehouse enabling analysts to reach new levels of data warehouse experience

An analytical data warehouse technology, when combined with deeply engineered data, forms legacy! For data scientists, and engineers, that’s all in one package. Now, the market leaders Snowflake and Snowplow join hands to enable this technology.

Snowplow announced its partnership with Snowflake as a Premier Partner who has also achieved the Snowflake Ready Technology Validation. The Snowflake Ready Technology Validation program confirms the compatibility of organizations for their validity with Snowflake’s integrations.

Earlier, with Snowflake’s cloud, a data analyst could only use the cloud warehouse to store its already engineered data for analytical processing. However, Snowplow’s exciting technology of data creation and behavioral data will now enable data scientists to deeply develop their customer’s data and use it for analytics on a single platform. Snowflake and Snowplow’s collaboration will thereby further enhance the data-driven value for businesses.

Behavioral data is the data of customers or prospects that shows their behavior or interaction with a business and its products. Snowplow offers services in reliable collection, engineering and delivery of customer’s behavioral data for any business at scale.

By getting access to Snowplow’s data engineering platform, users under the duo platforms will be able to develop customer-centric data applications under Snowflake’s application development tools. Snowflake offers application development tools for data analysts without having the need for application development knowledge.

The first release of the technology pair is a Snowflake Snowplow Loader that loads Snowplow data in the Snowflake’s data cloud.

Reaching new heights

With this duo happening in the cloud world, Snowflake is reaching new heights by offering exciting technology integration to its customers. The same goes for the partner Snowplow whose innovative data creation technology will now be accessible to hundreds of Snowflake’s customers. Not only this, the Snowplow customers are also getting access to the Snowflake’s data cloud technology.

Having Snowplow as a Premier Partner in the Snowflake Partner Network is a meaningful development for customers as they pursue analytics and AI-based innovation

Snowflake is a cloud native data warehouse that is competing strongly with market leaders: Amazon’s RedShift, and Google BigQuery. With Snowflake’s separate compute and storage offering, an always-on encryption, and ability to allow both structured and semi structured data in its cloud makes it a preferable choice for growing businesses and startups.

Snowflake is always on the lead to improve its customer experience CX by remaining on mainstream media by collaborating and acquiring new technology startups. As a recent example, in March this year the company acquired Streamlit for US$800m to offer trouble free application development for data scientists without having application development knowledge.

Snowplow Analytics is a data engineering platform that makes the data collection and processing task for businesses easy. Its software collects data at scale from across various channels (such as mobile, web, or any other channel of information) to combine in a single source of data. This data is processed for structure in the data modeling stage before it’s delivered to the customer securely and in real-time. Snowplow’s robust data engineering offers customized data modeling ability as per the business questions.
