In a video, Abdul Ahad shares his experience with Dice Analytics bringing in light the course of his journey; overall experience, instructors’ approach, and online mode of learning.
This article will answer your queries regarding our Learning Approach at Dice Analytics. Here’s what Abdul Ahad has to say about his experience with us:
Q: How was your experience with ‘online learning’ at Dice Analytics?
A: The course allowed me to explore the world of data analytics at the comfort of my home while being quarantined during pandemic.
The most valuable thing about online learning is that we have the luxury to view the recorded lectures during and after the course using the Dice Analytics Learning Management System (LMS).
The class environment was very interactive. Given the online mode of learning, it didn’t deter the instructors from delivering engaging lectures.
Q: What do you think about our instructors?
A: Given that it’s the introductory course in the field of data analytics, the instructors evaluated our pace and carefully avoided technical jargon that was unfamiliar to some of us to help us not get overwhelmed initially.
Quite satisfying is that the instructors gave us a safe space to ask questions.
The instructors were very knowledgeable in the field of business analytics and had a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge.
Adding to that, our experienced instructors were also aware that we needed to move forward with our Career in this industry, they offered very well curated and comprehensive guidance to us.
Q: How will this experience change the way you do your job?/How will this course help you in getting your dream job?
A: I applied for the course not just to shift my career in business analytics but to get the freedom of exploring various data sets of my interest on Kaggle.
I can now build my portfolio by using the skills that I learned from the course such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Q: Would you recommend this training course to a colleague or friend?
A: I will definitely recommend this course to my friends or colleagues.
First, to those who don’t want to shift career in data analytics. This is because data analytics skills are the ‘skills of the future’ and will benefit you in the long run. They can help in analysis of data in any field or area. Unfortunately, such skills are not taught in higher education institutes despite the fact that demand for data exploration is more than ever.
Abdul Ahad is a satisfied alumni of Dice Analytics and we wish our alumni all the very best for future success.
